Are you unsure which job opportunities to pursue to give you the knowledge, competencies and skills desired by hiring managers? Are you looking for career advice but aren’t getting anywhere?
CIPMM is proud to announce that this year, the 29th annual National Workshop offers you the opportunity to meet with senior managers within the fields of procurement and materiel management for a one-on-one career mentoring session. Each session will only last 20 minutes, so come prepared to ensure you get the most out of this rare opportunity.

Guidelines for Speed Mentoring:
- Remember to briefly describe your education, competencies and career path so far.
- Provide your own perspective on future opportunities.
- Create a positive impression and build rapport.
- Prepare questions in advance.
- Be relaxed, professional and open-minded.
- Be ready to listen and willing to learn and grow.
- Please respect your allotted time.
Things to Avoid:
- Don’t ask for a job.
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
- Don’t forget to silence your cell phone.
- Don’t be negative.
- Don’t arrive late (or not show up at all!)
What to expect on the day of the Event:
- Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to ensure that appointment times are kept. A CIPMM volunteer will meet you at your designated area.
